Avolus look after Archbishop Desmund Tutu and VIP guests for Beyond Sport summit – July 2009

VIP transport provider Avolus was proud to be supporting the widely-acclaimed Beyond Sport summit in London last week providing transport for some of the world-famous figures participating in the event.

500 invited guests attended the summit including specially invited leaders from business, government and federations committed to help drive the sport-led social innovation initiative. The event included a hugely impressive line-up of participants including Tony Blair, HRH Prince Faisal Al Hussein of Jordan, Lord Puttnam, Ian Thorpe and Michael Johnson. The highlight of the day however was the interview of Archbishop Desmond Tutu by Michael Parkinson, which had the audience spell-bound with delight while emphasising the key message that sport can offer a valuable contribution to social innovation.

Avolus was delighted to be involved in such an excellent cause and proud to have contributed towards the successful organisation of the event.
